Organic chemicals of over EUR 58 M exported by Romania in January – May 2017

Romania exported in the first five months of 2017, from January to May, organic chemicals worth EUR 58.1 million, up by 8.5 percent than in the similar period of 2016, the data released by the National Statistics Institute (INS).

The organic chemicals’ imports saw EUR 275.1 million, up by 17.8 percent as compared to those in January – May 2016, a EUR 217 million deficit being thus recorded on this segment.

In January – May 2017, the FOB exports meant EUR 25.812 billions, up by 11.1 percent against the same period of 2016.

In the same period, the CIF imports reached EUR 30.279 billion, up by 12 percent against the same first five-month period of 2016.
