Thus, a symphonic concert deemed to be exceptional is scheduled for this week, being held under the high patronage of the Russian Embassy in Romania. The “Paul Constantinescu” Philharmonic from Ploiesti announced that the Symphonic Concert called “The Great 5 in Beethoven’s Work” will be held on September 21, 2017, starting at 19.00, an event under the high patronage of the Russian Embassy in Romania. The program which entirely belongs to Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the three great classics, consists of two works, both of them containing the figure “5” as the reference number. Specifically, in the first part of the event, the audience will listen Concert No.5 for Piano and Orchestra in E Flat Major – “Emperor”, interpreted by the virtuoso Russian soloist Eduard Kunz and under the baton of the Master Conductor Cristian Brancusi, along with the symphonic orchestra of the Philharmonic. In the second part of the event, in the concert room “Ion Baciu” of the Philharmonic of Ploiesti, another work composed by Beethoven will be heard – The 5th Symphony in C Minor. To be mentioned that “Emperor”, having an unique greatness and representing one of the most remarkable piano concerts in the specialty library, is the last concert composed by the titan Beethoven; the work is a model for the successors of the romantic and even modern style. As for the 5th Symphony, it is the most known composition of the famous German composer. Also called “The Destiny Symphony”, the work is an original example of compositional genius, the first four tunes of the score being representative for Beethoven.
