An important county in terms of economy on Romania’s map, Prahova will host this week the first autumn event of the national project Business rEvolution. The theme of the event will be called “Digitalization – Trend or Tsunami”; the event will be held in Ploiesti. On September 21, 2017, the entrepreneurs in Prahova and the neighboring counties will have the opportunity to attend to the first autumn event of the national project Business rEvolution: Digitalization – trend or Tsunami.
The event is organized by Doingbusiness.ro, with the support of the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and industry, which announced that this project already had an impact on more than 15,000 Romanian companies in the first half of 2017, over 500 participants directly interacting with more than 30 personalities at the events organized in Iasi, Brasov, Bucharest and Arad during the period of March – June, 2017.
In this context, the organizers announced that the event in Ploiesti will bring in front of the businessman the legal issues of the new tax changes and of the new data protection regulations, but there will also be presented trends and innovative strategies in the digital marketing in this new legislative context. At the same time, the current economic situation will be presented and the potential of the local market and the digitalization and automatization directions of the processes and activities in companies will be identified, being highlighted the latest technologies that are accompanying the digital transformation. The conference will be opened by Aurelian Gogulescu, the President of the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who will speak about the Prahova economy in the context given by the digitalization challenge. The following presentation will be made by Dumitru Ion, CEO at the Kompass and Doingbusiness.ro companies, who will make an analysis of the potential market, based on the financial results reported by 610,000 companies for 2016, and he will present to the audience new applications for increasing sales.
Entrepreneurs attending the meeting in Ploiesti will also have the opportunity to find out which are the provisions and the implications of the new TVA Split regulation and how they have to adapt their business strategies to the new data protection regulations. The event will end with the presentation of the trends and challenges in the human resources strategies, which will be an interactive presentation that will portray the profile of the new generation of employees, with their expectations and motivations, on the one hand, trying to identify the most efficient practices in attracting and keeping, including rewarding the key employees, on the other hand. Participation in the event is free. After the conference in Ploiesti, Business (r)Evolution will continue with new editions in Craiova, on October 12, in Oradea – October 25, and in Targu Mures, on November 28.
