Roxana-Cezarina Banica appointed Secretary General of the Government

Roxana-Cezarina Banica has been appointed Secretary General of the Government, with rank of Minister, by a decision of the Prime Minister Mihai Tudose, that was published on Sunday in the Official Journal.

Roxana-Cezarina Banica has been Deputy Secretary General of the Government, with rank of Secretary of State. She has been appointed to this office by a dicision of the head of the Executive dated October 4.

On Friday, at the end of the meeting of the National Executive Committee (CExN) of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Prime Minister Tudose announced that the Government’s proposal for the office of Secretary General was Roxana Banica.

“Our proposal is Miss Roxana Banica. She was Secretary General with the Ministry of Finance and currently she is the Deputy Secretary General with the General Secretariat of the Government”, said Tudose.

The office of Secretary General of the Government remained vacant after the validation in Parliament of Mihai Busuioc as President of the Court of Accounts.
