Adrian Tutuianu replaces Paul Stanescu as Senate treasurer

Social Democratic Party’s Adrian Tutuianu has become the treasurer of the Senate following the resignation of Paul Stanescu, who has been appointed minister for regional development, public administration and European funds.

Senator Serban Nicolae requested the completion of the agenda to include a proposal aimed at revoking Paul Stanescu as treasurer of the Senate and his replacement with Adrian Tutuianu.

“After being sworn in as deputy prime minister and minister of regional development, public administration and European funds, Mr. Paul Stanescu can no longer serve as treasurer of the Senate,” he explained.

Tutuianu’s appointment was adopted by 99 ayes and one nay.
