European Commissioner Gunther Oettinger, responsible for Budget and Human Resources, will pay an official visit to Bucharest on Thursday, when he will meet with President Klaus Iohannis and Prime Minister Mihai Tudose, and also with members of the Executive, reads a release of the European Commission Representation in Romania..
During his visit, the high European official will also have talks with the Minister of Finance, Ionut Misa, the Minister-delegate for European Affairs, Victor Negrescu, the Minister of European Funds, Marius Nica, and with representatives of the specialist committees of Parliament.
Moreover, Gunther Oettinger will hold a speech at the Conference “10 years since Romania’s accession to the EU: from cohesion to convergence,” organized by the European Commission Representation to Romania, with the help of the National Bank of Romania, and it will participate in a dialogue with the citizens from the Academy of Economic Studies.
Commissioner Gunther Oettinger’s visit is meant to debate the future of finances of the European Union, in the context of the new multi-annual financial framework, which will be presented in May 2018.
