Romania’s Education Minister, Israel Ambassador discuss relevant cooperation

Minister of National Education Liviu Pop met on Tuesday Israel Ambassador to Romania Tamar Samash, with the two approaching among others the envisaged expansion of cooperation on the training of Holocaust History teachers.

“The two officials voiced appreciation for the good cooperation of the two countries on Education, expressing at the same time – in the context of the negotiation of a new intergovernmental agreement – their interest for expanding cooperation on the segment of the training of Holocaust History teachers,” informs a release on the website of the Ministry of National Education.

Aspects relevant to bilateral dialogue on curriculum reform and inter-university cooperation were also discussed.
