PSD’s Dragnea announces modifications to Tax Code, to grant benefits to IT employees. PSD leader confirms he will go to DNA on Monday: The masquerade would have been pointless if I wasn’t called there

Chamber of Deputies Speaker and Social Democratic Party (PSD) leader Liviu Dragnea on Sunday announces a series of modifications to the Tax Code, in the sense of granting some benefits to the employees in the IT sector, which the Government is working on in this period.

Dragnea reiterated that the income tax for the IT sector remains zero.

“We only have one problem that will be solved by the Government – those working in IT who already had their income tax zero, but there are several alternatives which the colleagues in the Government will propose so that the IT companies maintain these benefits. The tax remains zero. The salaries will not drop anyway, it is only the question whether the company will spend more. There aren’t any problems,” Dragnea said at Romexpo.

PSD leader confirms he will go to DNA on Monday: The masquerade would have been pointless if I wasn’t called there

The Social Democratic Party (PSD) leader Liviu Dragnea announced on Sunday he will go to the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) on Monday, and regarding a possible request addressed by DNA to the Parliament in his case, he said it seems “too much” to him.

“I will go to DNA tomorrow” Dragnea said on Sunday when he arrived at the Congress of the Social Democrat Youth.

As for the case in which he was summoned, Liviu Dragnea said: “What does it matter?”

“All this masquerade would be pointless if I wasn’t summoned”, the PSD leader stated.

Asked if he expects a request made by DNA to the Parliament in order to approve the criminal prosecution in his case, Liviu Dragnea answered: “It might be too much”.
