TVR: King Mihai feels better

King Mihai feels better, announced on Sunday the Romanian Television (TVR), mentioning that the information is not officially communicated by the Royal House.

According to the TVR correspondent in Switzerland, there are no longer reasons to be concerned at the king’s residence in Aubonne.

“King Mihai feels better, he is peaceful and conscious” according to the correspondence from Switzerland.

The Swiss press also wrote that King Mihai feels better and that he started eating, according to TVR, which mentions that the former sovereign is closely supervised by his councilor Constanta Iorga, who moved in Switzerland for several years.

Royal House announced on November 6 that King Mihai’s general condition got worse and that he is seriously weakened, with a significant decrease in resistance, Princess Margareta already being at the private residence in Switzerland.

Another press release dated November 8 stated that the celebration of the Saints Michael and Gabriel finds His Majesty King Mihai in distress and there will be no event organized at his residence. It also mentioned that the Eucharist religious service was performed to King Mihai by a representative of His High Holiness Metropolitan Iosif of Western and Southern Europe.
