President Klaus Iohannis on Tuesday signed the decree by which the Law on setting up the Adventus University of Cernica is promulgated, reads a release by the Presidential Administration.
The piece of legislation initiated by the Gov’t says that the Adventus University will be established by turning the Adventist Theological Institute from a non-profit foundation into an autonomous higher education institution, with private law and public utility legal personality, based in Cernica, at No. 11-13, Decebal Road of Ilfov County, east of Bucharest.
According to the project, the University will include the Adventist Theological faculty with the specializations and study curricula: pastoral Adventist theology, social care, pedagogy of elementary and preschool education in Romanian.
The spending for the establishment of the university will be ensured from own incomes, alongside other legal sources.
