President Iohannis strongly condemns the incident in Bergkamen

President Klaus Iohannis strongly condemns the incident that took place in the German city of Bergkamen, where a fire burst out in a block of flats where Romanian nationals were living, too.

“President Klaus Iohannis is outraged with the incident that occurred on the very National Day of Romania. President Iohannis is very concerned of the fact that such a cruel act, ended in tens of injured, could take place in Europe’s 2017 and strongly condemn this incident,” reads a release from the Presidential Administration at AGERPRES’s request.

According to the source, the president pays personal attention to this situation, will follow the evolutions and is expecting that the investigation of the German authorities clear with maximum urgency the circumstances of the incident.
