President Iohannis to meet on Tuesday with EU member states’ ambassadors in Bucharest

President Klaus Iohannis is meeting  on Tuesday with the ambassadors of the European Union’s member states accredited in Bucharest, on the occasion of a working lunch hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia, that is holding the Presidency of the EU Council in the second half of 2017, a release issued by the Presidential Administration informs.

The meeting will tackle topics in connection with the domestic developments as well as aspects referring to the main items of discussion regarding the main issues on the agenda of the European Council’s reunion on 14 and 15 December, namely security and defence, migration management, EU’s social dimension, education and culture.

The exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union will also be addressed.
