The German Embassy will open the Christmas Fair on Friday

This year’s edition of the German Traditional Christmas Fair will take place on Friday, December 8, from 16.00 to 20.00, in the parking lot of the Embassy of Germany in Bucharest,  a press release issued by the diplomatic mission informs.

According to the quoted source, the fair will be officially opened by the German Ambassador in Bucharest, Cord Meier-Klodt on Friday, at 16.50. The participants in the fair will have the opportunity to enjoy specific German specialties, sweets and specific Christmas drinks, to listen German and international carols and to buy presents.

The musical program of the event will be held by the Music Band of the Bucharest German School, by the Children Choir of the Bucharest German School, by the Choirs of the Goethe College and by the Bucharest International Choir. At the fair, those who are interested can get information on the projects of the participating non-governmental organizations.

This year, the Embassy will also organize a stand for children with Christmas tree decorations that can be hand-made.  The access to the fair is free and the proceeds obtained will be used in charity purposes, according to the press release.
