President Iohannis signs several decrees, including agreements with other states on protection of classified information

President Klaus Iohannis on Thursday promulgated several laws on ratification of some agreements and one convention.

Thus, the head of the state signed the decrees regarding the promulgation of the Law on ratification of the Agreement between Romania and the Republic of Serbia in the social security field, signed in Belgrade on October 28 2016, the Law on the ratification of the Security Agreement concluded between the Romanian Government and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on mutual protection of classified information, signed in Bucharest on May 24 2017 and the Law on the ratification of the Agreement between the Romanian Government and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on mutual protection of classified information, signed in Zagreb on June 12 2017.

Moreover, President Iohannis signed the decree on the promulgation of the Law on the ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events, adopted in Saint-Denis on July 3 2016 signed by the Romanian side in Budapest on November 29 2016, as well as on the approval of the cessation of validity by denunciation of the European Convention on Spectator Violence and Misbehaviour at Sports, especially football matches, as adopted in Strasbourg, on August 19 1985.

 

President promulgates law under which the Ombudsman pension is updated in relation to CCR judges’ entitlement

 

 

President Klaus Iohannis signed on Thursday the decree for promulgating the Law for the amendment and supplementation of the Law No.35/1997 regarding the organisation and functioning of the Ombudsman institution.

President Klaus Iohannis also signed on Thursday the decrees for promulgating the following laws:

* Law regarding the adoption of the Government Emergency Ordinance No.68/2015 for approving some management measures of structural instruments in the transport area;

* Law regarding the adoption of the Government Ordinance No.8/2017 for amending and supplementing the Government Ordinance No.25/2015 regarding the management and usage of foreign non-reimbursable funds and national public co-financing, for the “European Territorial Cooperation” objective, between 2014-2020;

* Law regarding the adoption of the Government Ordinance No.27/2017 for amending and supplementing the Government Emergency Ordinance No.40/2015 regarding the financial management of European funds for 2014-2020 programming period.
