Cristina Neagu, the best European handball player

The star of the women’s national handball team and of the CSM Bucuresti team, Cristina Neagu, is the best European handball player in 2017, in the supporters’ opinion. They voted through a survey posted on the European Handball Federation website, attended by 30,000 people. Neagu received 52 percent of the votes of the fans, while the second position was taken by Anita Gorbicz with 38 percent, and the last step of the podium belongs to Nora Mork. Neagu has previously won the title of the world’s best handball player in 2010, 2015 and 2016. The Croatian Luka Cindric was voted as the best European men’s handball player in 2017, receiving 46 percent of the fans’ preferences.
