Hilton opens first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bucharest

Hilton Garden Inn, the mid-priced hotel brand owned by Hilton Worldwide, announces the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town. Located at the centre of the Old Town, the 201-room hotel is the first Hilton Garden Inn in Romania, joining the other eight Hilton properties in the country.

The hotel is situated very close to the touristic attractions in Bucharest, such as the Stavropoleous Monastery, the CEC Palace, the St. Anton Church and the Romanian Athenaeum. Access to it is easy via public transport, the building being located 3 kilometres from the Gara de Nord train station and very close to the Universitate subway station.

“Since the number of tourists visiting Romania is growing each year, we are pleased to open the first Hilton Garden Inn right at the heart of the capital,” Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town General Manager Maria Dragulin stated. “We are eagerly waiting to offer our guests an unforgettable stay, in excellent lodging conditions, only a few steps away from everything that the city has to offer.”

Guests can dine at the hotel’s Garden Grille & Bar, which offers fresh breakfast every day. For lunch and dinner, they can choose from a series of seasonal specialties, Central European wines, international beer brands and classic cocktails. The hotel’s open-air terrace offers a spectacular view of the Old Town and invites the guests to enjoy delicious grilled dishes. Moreover, the hotel’s shop is open non-stop and offers a complete selection of salty snacks, sweets, and sodas.

Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town offers varied facilities and services, including free Wi-Fi, a business centre open around the clock, and a fitness hall. Likewise, the hotel puts at the disposal of its guests meeting halls – well-lit spaces with flexible hours. Having 300 square metres of adaptable space, the hotel becomes an ideal base for weddings, receptions, and corporate events, with a capacity of up to 160 persons and the option for catering on location.
