Bucharest Police head, deputy announce their resignations over paedophile policeman case

The head of the Bucharest Police Mihai Marius Voicu and his deputy Nicu Dragos Orlando on Friday asked for the termination of their mandates in office following the scandal over Eugen Stan, the policeman charged with paedophilia and sexual assault in several cases.

The requests of the two police chiefs appear in the Note-Report on the outcome of verifications concluded in the case of policeman Eugen Stan and the measures adopted at the level of the Romanian Police level.
