Gov’t wishes best collaboration with business milieu, Premier Tudose tells Ford officials

The Government wishes the best and ceaseless collaboration with the business milieu, on Friday asserted Premier Mihai Tudose at a meeting with the representatives of the Ford company, headed by Vice President Andrew McCall, a release by the Executive informs.

“Romania is an environment with new investment and development opportunities of the ongoing projects,” the Executive head said, adding that the infrastructure is one of the three priorities of the Executive, and the gov’t is focusing on speeding up the road infrastructure projects.

“We are aware that the infrastructure development is beneficial not only to a certain investment, but also to Romania’s progress,” Tudose added.

Andrew McCall presented the development stage of the Ford investment and the future projects of the company for the plant based in southern Craiova.

Ford maintains its commitment to look for opportunities to also manufacture other products at Craiova and use better our plant’s production capacity. It is very important to work together with the Romanian Gov’t to make sure that the Craiova plant stays competitive globally as we advance with our plans in Romania, McCall assessed.

State secretary Florin Vodita and state adviser Gabriel Andronache attended the meeting, on behalf of the Romanian Gov’t, the release informs.
