Iranian Culture Week: Persian Art and Crafts Exhibition at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant invite the interested public to come on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, starting at 16.30, at the Aquarium Hall, at the opening of the Persian Art and Crafts Exhibition organized under the Iranian Culture Week in Romania.

The exhibition brings together a series of paintings of the renowned painter and miniaturist MAHMOUD FARSHCHIAN, a collection of archeological reproductions of the bas-reliefs, capitals and columns from Persepolis / Takht-e Jamshid (Jamshid’s Throne) – the former capital of the ancient Persia, currently deemed by historians and archeologists the eighth wonder of the ancient world; handcrafted Persian carpets and handicraft items.

The exhibition can be visited at the Aquarium Hall from January 30 to February 4, 2018, since Tuesday to Sunday, between 10.00 and 18.00. The access is free.
