MAE: Romania, Switzerland talks; restrictions to Romanians on Swiss labour market among topics

Secretary of state for bilateral and strategic affairs in the Euro-Atlantic space George Ciamba on Friday had a meeting with Nicolas Bruhl, undersecretary of state with the Swiss Foreign Ministry, head of Europe, Central Asia, Council of Europe and OSCE Division in the Directorate of Political Affairs, reads a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) issued on Friday.

The two officials spoke, among other things, about the future of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and about stimulating mutual investments.

The Romanian side showed interest in the continuation of the dialogue with the Swiss authorities with a view to identifying the best solutions under this mechanism, while highlighting the good implementation of the projects carried out so far, especially in the fields of infrastructure, environment, security and professional and social development.
