Spring IT is back – 7th edition

The Student Union of the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics (SiSC) announces the 7th edition of Spring IT, which will take place at the Ambasador Hotel, between 5th-9th March, 2018.

SiSC (www.sisc.ro) is a student organization within the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Over the course of 20 years, it has gained vast experience and more than 200 projects had been successfully accomplished. The main purpose of the organization is to represent the students of the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics (CSIE) and to create new opportunities of personal and professional development.

Not only does Spring IT offer employment opportunities for students passionate about IT, but also facilitates communication between them and companies’ representatives from this domain.

Young people interested in this event will have the chance to participate in workshops where some of the most well-known IT companies will provide information about jobs in the marketplace and how a student can get them. Participants can register online via completion of a form, which can be found on http://springit.sisc.ro/. They will also have the possibility of uploading their CVs, which will be passed on to the partners.

This edition has Accenture as its main partner. During the opening conference, students can find out more about companies like: Metro Systems, Microsoft, EY, OSF Global Services, P&G, Systematic, ING, American Greeting, which will conduct 5-day workshops. More details about the project and the workshop schedule can be found on http://springit.sisc.ro/.

The 7th edition introduces a new element for the event, which is enrolling by QR code. This method consists in generating a QR code for each participant, which will be scanned when the individual arrives at the workshop. Once the code is scanned, the student will be given the needed materials and invited in the hall.

“Further information can be found on our website, http://springit.sisc.ro/, and on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/spring.it.sisc, where you can find daily updates and contact our team, always ready to answer to your questions,” the organizers announce in a press release.
