France has in view to collaborate in other fields, too, apart from aeronautics, so that Romania becomes “an important actor” on the French industries’ market, on Tuesday asserted in Ghimbav (central Brasov County, ed. n.) the Ambassador of France to Romania, Michele Ramis.
“It is a great honour to me to be present here, at Airbus Ghimbav, along the Romanian Senate’s President, to celebrate 46 years of collaboration between Airbus and Romania. Apart from the aeronautics, we envisage to collaborate in many other industrial fields, and in such circumstances, Romania will be an important actor on France’s market of industries. It is a great opportunity, for the Romanian army in the first place to have helicopters and also helicopter spares that are produced here, and it is a very, very important collaboration for the armed forces,” the French dignitary stated.
Accompanying the Senate’s head, Calin Popescu-Tariceanu and the Ambassador of France to Romania, Michele Ramis at the 46th anniversary of collaboration between Airbus and Romania was the deputy of the German Ambassador to Romania, Kai Hennie. The officials visited the Airbus, Premium Aerotec and IAR Ghimbav companies on the aeronautic platform.
