The renowned violinist and composer Edvin Marton, appreciated for his unique style of merging classical music with the pop-rock of our days, will perform at the Palace Hall (Sala Palatului) in Bucharest on April 20, starting at 7:30 PM.
The show that Edvin Marton will present to the audience in Bucharest, entitled “Stradivarius Concert Show”, will include electrifying performances of some of the most applauded musical compositions, such as Tosca Fantasy, Godfather, or Love In Venice. These are just a few of the songs he will play on a Stradivarius violin, valued at USD 7 million, made by the famous luthier Antonio Stradivari in 1699.
Along with Edvin Marton, the Bucharest Metropolitan Orchestra will come on the Palace Hall stage, under the baton of conductor Daniel Jinga. His openness towards original musical projects brought him, throughout his career, successful collaborations with renowned Romanian artist like PHOENIX, IRIS, Smiley, Marius Moga, Vlad Mirita and others.
Edvin Marton promises an unforgettable concert along with his guests and he invites you to get in love with “Stradivarius Concert Show”, a musical journey on classical and rock rhythms.
Being the winner of an Emmy Award for the Best Original Composition, Edvin Marton conquered the international audience after his exceptional collaboration with the Russian skater Evgeni Plushenko and after he won Eurovision in 2008, together with Dima Bilan.
In most of his interviews, Edvin Marton says that his destiny is to make people happy by the music he plays. He started singing when he was 5, while he wanted to impress a girl at the kindergarten, and from that moment until his first concerts along with symphonic orchestras, it didn’t last much longer.
He followed renowned schools, such as: Tchaikovsky Music School in Moscow, Music Academy in Budapest, Music Academy in Vienna, and Juilliard School of Music in New York. Although he is a classical music lover, Edvin Marton felt he must adapt compositions and even create new ones to sing them to the people of our days. Thus, many successful projects resulted, being built on a musical fusion between classical and contemporary, thus conquering the great stages of the world.
