Inspired by the incoming holiday, I raised my drone and captured the scene.” The photographer continues: “This is probably the biggest surprise of the year for me. I can’t yet get used to the fact that my photography will be listed among top photographers from around the world. I always dreamed of promoting beautiful places and traditions on an international level, but I guess I never believed hard enough.”

Spînu is particularly fond of his upbringing in Bucovina and he loves to capture its places and traditions in his photography. His winning image was entered 2018 Awards’ Open Landscape & Nature category.
