Belgian Ambassador, present in Prahova on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Alinso Group’s activity in Romania

Alinso Group, the developer of the largest industrial park in the Southeastern Europe – Ploiesti West Park -, which has an area of 300 hectares in the commune Aricestii Rahtivani, Prahova County, has marked, on March 21, 2018, ten years of activity in Romania. The event was marked by a meeting that was attended – along with representatives of the county administration, the President of the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, business partners – also by the Belgian Ambassador in Romania, Thomas Baekelandt.

In his speech held at the festivity, the President of the Prahova County Council Bogdan Toader highlighted the remarkable evolution of this company, giving an anniversary diploma on this occasion to Ivan Lokere, CEO at Alison Group, for the special contribution brought to the economic development of the county. At the same time, he ensured the Alinso Group management that the partnership with the Prahova County Council will be as reliable as until today, and that the county administration will continue to support the company in its future investment projects in the Prahova County.

The Belgian Group Alinso, the developer of the Ploiesti Wet Park, has inaugurated in December 2011 the first independent Inter-Modal railway terminal in the region, which is managed in partnership with Rail Cargo Austria. Ploiesti West Park is located in the middle of Romania, in Prahova County. It is strategically located near Bucharest, only 45 km from the “Henri Coanda” International Airport. The park is focused on light production, logistics and industrial real estate. Ploiesti West Park is developed by Alinso Group, a company headquartered in Belgium, operating in real estate and green energy industry.
