Brico Depôt launches the third edition of the most important DIY and home design catalogue in Romania

  • 376 pages, 13 categories and 15,000 products, including 3,000 new products
  • Activation campaign in the 15 Brico Depôt stores with total prizes on RON 230,000
  • “Bathroom design” and “Building materials” have been the most sought categories in the previous editions of the Brico Depôt catalogue
  • In 2016 and 2017, the catalogue was downloaded through the Brico Depôt app over 9,000 times

 

Brico Depôt Romania, part of Kingfisher plc, an international interior design company, launches the third edition of the most important DIY and home design catalogue in Romania. The Brico Depôt 2018 catalogue includes 13 chapters, 15,000 products, among which there are 3,000 new products, and has 40 more pages compared to the 2017 edition, thus reaching to 376 pages.

The new catalogue is available from April 14 to May 23 and can be found in the Brico Depôt stores, as well as on the website or by using the Brico Depôt app. This year, the 2018 catalogue will be supported by a large scale campaign that will run on TV and radio channels, outdoor and online, as well as in the stores, where customers are expected with a lot of surprises.

Besides the traditional categories – bathroom and kitchen products, building materials, carpentry or tools – the lighting product range was enlarged in the Brico Depôt 2018 catalogue, and the number of pages dedicated to the Garden, Tools, Bathroom and Paint chapters was increased. There are also more DIY tips included through the “Brico Sfat” (“Brico Tip” – e.n.) and “Alege Bine” (“Choose Right” – e.n.) inserts; this information will ease the selection process and the purchasing decision for customers.

 

Activations with prizes and surprises in all the stores

 

With the launching of the new catalogue, Brico Depôt has prepared a large scale activation campaign; contests and raffles with total prizes of RON 230,000 will be organized in all of the 15 stores in the network. Participants can win instant or weekly prizes, which may consist of value vouchers or products from the Brico Depôt stores.

 

Radio and TV campaign

 

The partnership with Mihai Bobonete and Adrian Vancica, two of the most beloved Romanian comedy actors, will continue this year, too, with another advertisement miniseries. This time, the funny scenes happen in their homes, along with their wives.

With this launching, the Brico Depôt customers will benefit from various payment possibilities, including installment payment for the products, though the partner financial institutions.

The Brico Depôt card brings many benefits, such as a 90-day term to return the products without a tax receipt, quick invoicing and the delivery of the products purchased at home, according to the regulation.
