Sinaia, the best-known Prahova Valley resort, continues to host, this year too, various international summits, congresses and events bringing together Romanian and foreign specialists from all fields. Thus, on 9-13 May 2018, Sinia Casino’s International Conference Centre will host a large-scale event that will include no fewer than five reunions on the same healthcare topic. We are talking about the “44th Congress of the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care,” “12th Romanian-French Congress of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care,” “10th Romanian-Israeli Symposium of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Actualities,” “17th Congress of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Nurses” and “5th ‘Great Romania’ Symposium of Romanian and Moldovan Societies of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care,” with the observation that these events will also be accompanied by a special medical exhibition which is currently at its 17th edition.
The mentioned events will feature classes, interactive and topical sessions, plenary and magistral conferences, sessions for resident physicians, oral presentations, workshops, symposiums. According to the announced timetable, the events will have, as guest speakers, Romanian and foreign specialists, namely specialists from Denmark, France, U.S., UK, Republic of Moldova, Israel, Turkey, Hungary, Argentina, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia. On the last day of the series of events, there will be a symposium titled “Multimodal analgesia in medical practice,” as well as a presentation on a new non-invasive technique to monitor pain and optimise intra-surgery analgesia. Its moderators will be Dr. Ruth Edry, head of the Acute Pain Service, Anaesthesiology Department, Rombam Medical Centre, Haifa, Israel, and Professor Dr. Serban Bubenek, from the ‘Professor C.C.Iliescu’ Institute for Emergency in Cardiovascular Disease. Professor Dr. Serban Bubenek is the elected president of the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (SRATI) and chairman of the Romanian-Israeli Symposium of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Actualities 2018.
The events hosted by Casino Sinaia are organised by the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (SRATI), its scientific partners being the French Society of Anaesthesia and Resuscitation, the Israeli Society of Anaesthesia, and the Republic of Moldova’s Society of Anaesthesiology-Resuscitation.
