Chamber Speaker Dragnea to pay official visit to Bern, Switzerland, between 29-31 May

Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Liviu Dragnea will pay an official visit to Bern, Switzerland, between 20-31 May, together with a parliamentary delegation.

According to a memorandum approved by the Standing Bureau of the Deputies’ Chamber, the visit takes place at the invitation extended by President of the National Council of the Swiss Confederation Dominique de Buman, in view of “expanding the cooperation base between the two legislative forums.”

The draft schedule includes an official meeting with President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset, talks with President of the National Council of the Swiss Confederation Dominique de Buman, with President of the Swiss Council of States Filippo Lombardi, as well as with the three honorary consuls of Romania in the Swiss Confederation.

Deputy Speaker of the Deputies Chamber Gabriel Vlase will also be a member of the delegation led by Speaker Liviu Dragnea.
