President Iohannis on Wednesday attends Bookfest opening, welcomes Prince Charles at Cotroceni Palace

President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday morning will attend the opening of the Bookfest International Book Fair and in the afternoon he is to welcome Prince Charles at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace.

According to the presidential agenda, the president will be at the opening of Bookfest’s 13th edition, at noon, at Romexpo (northern Bucharest).

In the afternoon, at 15:30 hrs, the President will welcome Prince Charles, and the two are due to have a private talk at the Cotroceni Palace.

Prince Charles in March 2017 paid an official visit to Romania during which he was welcomed by President Iohannis who presented him with the “Star of Romania” National Order in the rank of Great Cross. That was the second official visit of Prince Charles to Romania.

President Klaus Iohannis welcomed Prince Charles at the Cotroceni Palace on two previous occasions, 31 May 2015 and 29 May 2016.
