More than 2,000 people started to march on Saturday on Calea Victoriei to the University Square, as a sign of supporting diversity, the LGBTI community and the rights of its representatives.
Two platforms with two DJs enclosed the crowd. Most of the participants were dancing and making photos, proudly supporting their cause.
As announced by the organizers, a big rainbow-flag was unfolded and carried by the parade participants.
The party continued in the University Square (the esplanade); several speeches were held: the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Bucharest, Paul Brummell, the German Ambassador Cord Meier-Klodt, Peaches, Dragos Bucurenci and Andreea Balan were some of the speakers.
The 14th edition of the diversity march celebrated 40 years since the rainbow-flag was created to represent the solidarity of the LGBTI community and the defense of its rights.
Bucharest Pride ended with a party in the Control club, where Peaches performed for the first time in Bucharest.
