First Miele Constanta store outside Bucharest registered sales of EUR 250,000 in the first year since its opening

Miele Point Constanta, the first showroom outside Bucharest of the number one company in the world premium home appliance production, registered in the first year since its opening a turnover of EUR 250,000.

Being inaugurated in May 2017, following an investment of EUR 120,000, the store at the seashore is the third one in the Miele Romania network. With an area of 70 square meters, Miele Point is located in the historical center of Constanta, at the 13-15 Sulmona Street, offering to its customers the unique Miele opportunity to test any equipment in the portfolio: built-in appliances (dishwashers, ovens, hobs and hoods), refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, ironing systems or freestanding espresso machines.

The new cooking products and the cleaning and clothes washing equipment proved to be the most wanted in the southeastern part of the country. The Miele Constanta customers mainly purchased vacuum cleaners, washing machines and dryers.

The largest order amounted EUR 25,000 and consisted of a full equipment of a kitchen.

“We are celebrating one year since the opening of our first showroom outside Bucharest, and we can say it is a winning bet. Choosing Constanta relied on the fact that the Constanta metropolitan area is one of the most important areas of its kind in Romania, and the potential we took into account, especially the touristic one, has turned into a success. The fact that anyone who is interested in the Miele equipment can come into a store to test them is a strong argument on a premium market where every detail counts” says the General Manger of Miele Romania, Loredana Butnaru.

Miele Romania’s expansion plan continued this year, too, with the inauguration of the fourth showroom of the company, last month, in Timisoara. The store keeps the Miele Point architecture and concept from Bucharest, thus joining the two showrooms in Bucharest, the one in Constanta and the series of franchise stores in Sibiu, Targu Mures, Deva, Brasov and Cluj Napoca.
