Silicon Forest, the newest technology hub and coworking place in Cluj-Napoca, was launched on Thursday, in the central area of the city. The project is dedicated to the IT&C industry, as well as to the freelancers in the financial, legal or HR fields.
The hub’s occupancy degree has already reached 25% and is represented by approx. 50 freelancers and companies in the IT&C field. By the end of September, Silicon Forest expects an occupancy degree of 90%, amid the end of the holiday period.
The increase in occupancy degree is supported by a Soft Opening campaign, a program through which the potential clients can test for free all the hub’s facilities.
“The feedback we have received from the new clients and from the potential ones confirmed us that the Cluj market needed a project like Silicon Forest. We are aware that we probably address the most demanding public, so we continue to be open and adaptable to any requirements and needs we may receive. We launched the hub with an occupancy degree of 25% and we are optimistic that in September we will operate at a capacity of 90%” stated Gabriel Rusu, one of the project’s founders.
Silicon Forest is located in the central area of Cluj, at 9 Cotita Street, in a building designed for office spaces. Having a modern design, the building has 6 floors and an area of more than 1,350 sqm, and includes office spaces, a terrace and a café. The hub’s offer includes security, cleaning and administrative services, as well as access to networking events and common recreation areas. The access in the meeting rooms and parking spaces is available depending on the chosen subscription.
The Silicon Forest project is initiated by Gabriel Rusu, CEO of Mejix, and two American investors, Boaz Gilad, founder & CEO of Brookland Capital, and Guy Praisler, CEO of Dine Market. The project is almost finalized, and the investment amounts to EUR 200,000 by now.
