The Fiscal Agency has already started the procedure to recover the amounts of money received from rents by President Klaus Iohannis, announced the Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici on Thursday.
Teodorovici said that two days ago, he asked the head of the Fiscal Agency Ionut Misa to present him the situation in this case.
“Two days ago, I asked him to present me such a situation. It’s Ionut Misa’s obligation to immediately make the legal approach in order to recover these amounts, it doesn’t matter if it’s Iohannis or another individual or legal person. He has the obligation to do it. (…) The action has already started”, Teodorovici stated for Antena 3.
The Minister mentioned that he will give further details on this case.
PSD Chairman Liviu Dragnea asked on Thursday the President of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), Ionut Misa, and the Finance Minister, if “they intend to recover the hundreds of thousands of euros from President Iohannis”.
“I am asking now Mr. Misa, who is the ANAF President, if this institution, and sometimes the Finance Ministry, intend to recover the hundreds of thousands of euros from President Iohannis. I am asking them now, publicly, if they have so much money at the budget and they don’t need this money, maybe we should decide a tax amnesty, if there is too much money and the Treasury’s coffers or Mr. Mavrodin’s coffers are not enough. I’m just asking, I don’t want to ask them by the phone, I am asking them publicly, because this question was put so many times in the TV studios, and no one is answering to it. A criminal complaint is filed against Mr. Iohannis and not only, of course it’s a ping-pong ball between DNA, the Sibiu Prosecutor’s Office, and then back t DNA, because they are afraid. We’re talking about houses obtained by forgery and hundreds of thousands of euros which they don’t return to the Romanian state. Period. Just to talk about criminal issues, where there are no interpretations anymore, there are deeds proved by documents” Liviu Dragnea stated.
Barna: Political orders given on TV to the Finance Minister and the head of ANAF to fiscally and urgently execute Klaus Iohannis rather indicate despair. This is the beginning of the end for Liviu Dragnea
USR Chairman Dan Barna says that Liviu Dragnea “has crossed the red line” om Thursday, when he asked the head of ANAF and the Finance Minister to fiscally execute President Klaus Iohannis for the rents. Barna also announces that “USR will fight in order for Liviu Dragnea not to fulfill his fatal plan for our future”.
“I have the conviction that this is the beginning of the end for Liviu Dragnea. He has crossed a red line and Romanians will not forgive him. The political orders given on TV to the Finance Minister and the head of ANAF to fiscally and urgently execute Klaus Iohannis, the new threatening to suspend the Romanian President, rather indicate despair”, Dan Barna wrote on his Facebook account.
The USR Chairman claims that he saw despair at Liviu Dragnea also on Wednesday, during the voting on the Criminal Code, when he was “forced” to steal one vote from PMP to pass the draft law.
“I saw despair yesterday too, during the voting on the Criminal Code, when Dragnea was forced to steal one vote from PMP right during the plenary session, to be able to pass the law that erases his conviction. For 3 votes!”, he also wrote.
Barna also believes that the PSD Chairman is losing the support of the party members, announcing that USR will not let him fulfill his “fatal plan for the future”.
“Liviu Dragea is losing his fellows’ support, which means that there are some PSD members who still have at least the self-preservation instinct, if not ears to hear the revolt shout of the honest Romanians. The head asked by Liviu Dragnea means Romania’s destruction and more and more Romanians feel disappointment and revolt against this toxic and abusive power that throws Romania back in the past. If not seen in the street, it is seen in polls and in the talks with people. USR will fight in order for Liviu Dragnea not to fulfill his fatal plan for our future. The one who will come to an end is not Romania, but Dragnea, at the end of his career built on theft and abuse!” Dan Barna added.
