Minister of Internal Affairs Carmen Dan convened on Sunday the Flood Command Body in videoconference system with the local authorities in the counties that are under weather warning. She announced that 21,000 gendarmes and policemen equipped with more than 7,400 machines, are ready to act and help people.

You should have taken advantage as much as you could of these days without rain, to finalize and speed up the assessment process. This is the reason for which I am making a call to all the prefects, and I ask you to consider the assessment activities a priority. I will appreciate that this activity proves your administrative ability to mobilize and coordinate the assessment activities at the county level” Carmen Dan said at the Flood Command Body held at MAI, being quoted by News.ro.
She said that it’s a priority to know which are the areas where there are still unsolved problems cause by the last week’s floods, and she announced that 21,000 gendarmes and policemen , equipped with more than 7,400 machines, are ready to act and help people affected by floods.
