I will appreciate that this activity proves your administrative ability to mobilize and coordinate the assessment activities at the county level” Carmen Dan said at the Flood Command Body held at MAI, being quoted by News.ro.

She said that it’s a priority to know which are the areas where there are still unsolved problems cause by the last week’s floods, and she announced that 21,000 gendarmes and policemen , equipped with more than 7,400 machines, are ready to act and help people affected by floods.

Carmen Dan also announced that the operational command center from MAI mentioned that the Saturday evening and Saturday night rains affected 27 localities from 16 counties, but without serious problems.

“The operational command center continues to be activated at the Ministry, and according to the collected date, until this morning, various consequences of the rains from yesterday and last night were registered in 27 localities from 16 counties and Bucharest. No serious problems occurred until now, but the flood risk will increase today in 13 counties, were there will be a Code Orange warning. I am asking you to continue to be ready” she added.
