CoinFlux, the most important digital coin exchange service in Romania, adds Ripple

CoinFlux, the leading digital coin exchange service in Romania, adds Ripple. Thus, customers will be able to buy, sell and trade XRP against EUR, or other digital coins.

“Adding Ripple o our offer has been a recurrent request of our customers. This is due to the fact that they become more informed on the digital coins and investments. Moreover, Ripple is actively used to perform cross-border payments in North America, Europe and Asia – Ripple is a functional product” stated Vlad Nistor, CEO and founder of CoinFlux.

Designed to ease cross-border transfer of values by using the blockchain technology, Ripple helps financial institutions and individuals to process payments anywhere in the world, faster and cheaper than by using the traditional banking system. This provides the users with easy access to new markets.

Ripple has already practical implementations: the Spanish bank Santander has launched the first currency exchange service based on Ripple, called Santander One Pay FX. The service is available in countries like Spain, UK, Brazil and Poland, and is expected to expand in more countries in the near future.

At the same time, they have partnerships with important companies in the financial industry, such as Western Union, American Express, Money Gram, Royal Bank of Canada and Standard Chartered.

In the near future, CoinFlux is planning to expand its digital coin portfolio and to develop its own portfolio that will allow customers to keep their digital coins on the platform. “We are planning to become a one-stop-shop for the European customers who wish to use digital coins” Nistor explained.

Other future plans of the company include the orientation to other European markets.

A recent survey of the ING bank ranks Romania the 2nd of 13 European countries in terms of digital coins owned by the population and the people’s trust in the market.

Since it was launched, in December 2015, CoinFlux has constantly evolved and maintained the leading position on the Romanian market in the field, in terms of turnover. The company operates exclusively online and focuses to provide a high-quality customer support, competitive prices and operational efficiency.

Until today, CoinFlux exchanged digital coins in value of more than EUR 188 million, in over 180,000 transactions, with more than 18,000 customers.  Other currencies in the CoinFlux portfolio are Bitcoin, Ether, Ether Classic and Litecoin.

Founder and CEO of CoinFlux, Vlad Nistor is a 31 years old entrepreneur with experience in the financial field, where he managed assets in value of more than EUR 500 million for companies like Aegon, Banca Transilvania or BCR, a member of Erste Group.
