Professor Nicolae Hurduc proposed as Research Minister

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila announced on Thursday that Professor Nicolae Hurduc was proposed for the Research Minister office.

“I have presented the proposal for the Research Ministry office to the Social Democratic Party’s (PSD) National Standing Bureau (BPN) sitting. I am talking about Mr Nicolae Harduc, professor with the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi – the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Protection. I have already sent the proposal to President Klaus Iohannis, we are waiting to see if Mr President agrees with this proposal,” Viorica Dancila stated at the end of the PSD’s BPN sitting.

When asked what recommends Professor Nicolae Hurduc for the Research Minister office, the PM responded: “He has a vast career, many paper-works, he is a man who proved a lot of professionalism throughout his career, with a very good CV, a good communicator, a man who is involved in the absorption of European funds and this is very important for the Research Ministry.”
