Basescu: PSD’s Dragnea does not control anything anymore, has to leave now

Former president Traian Basescu, senator of the People’s Movement Party (PMP) says that at present (Chamber of Deputies’ Speaker, ed. n.) Liviu Dragnea is not controlling anything anymore, either the government, the parliamentary groups or the parliamentary majority, or the Social Democrat Party (PSD).

”Daddy seems to not get it! Dragnea doesn’t control anything anymore, either the government, or the parliamentary majority or the party whose chairman he still thinks he is. These are the last days when Dragnea can leave from the top of the PSD of his own free will. Within a few weeks it will be too late, he will take off because he was kicked out,” on Friday wrote Traian Basescu on his Facebook page.

The former president of Romania (2004-2014) says that Dragnea is no longer well seen in his own party.

“Even the PSD members have started to understand what a disaster for the party, for the gov’t and for the country was their blind obedience to Dragnea. Dragnea, leave now! P.S. – Do not forget to take the <> with you,” the PMP senator concluded.
