I wish to extend my best wishes and congratulations on the National Day of Republic of Kazakhstan on December 16.
In recent years our countries have laid a foundation for strengthening bilateral relations between the states and citizens in a number of important fields. With Kazakhstan, last year we celebrated 25 years of bilateral diplomatic relations, a positive context that motivates us even more to strengthen the economic cooperation between our countries and exploit the commercial and investment potential of our economies.
It was a true honor for me to be a co-chair of the 14th session of Romanian-Kazakh Joint Economic Commission, in Astana, on September 2018 and I am convinced that during the current session of the Joint Commission pragmatic discussions have been held, leading to fruitful conclusions.
I believe the results of this Joint Commission represent a reconfirmation of our countries’ excellent relations, as well as an opportunity to boost bilateral cooperation at the institutional level and between business entities from our countries. Therefore, I emphasize the importance given by Romania to the bilateral cooperation with Kazakhstan, at all levels of the state administration, especially regarding the fields of energy and transport. The presence of the Romanian delegation in Astana reiterates Romania’s desire to become partners with Kazakhstan for the development of economic projects, both at the bilateral level and the regional one.
I am convinced that this type of events brings a significant contribution to achieving the real potential of the Romania – Kazakhstan economic relations, along with other efforts made by each of us for the continuous consolidation of the bilateral relations between our countries. I trust that our common efforts to strengthen the bilateral relations will soon show good results.
Once again, congratulations to all the people of Republic of Kazakhstan on the National Day!
