Tutuianu submits request for the establishment of a parliamentary group of unaffiliated senators, called “The Union”

Adrian Tutuianu submitted on Monday, at the Senate’s Standing Bureau, a request for the establishment of the parliamentary group of the unaffiliated senators, called “The Union”. He requested for ensuring the necessary technical secretariat and the necessary logistics in order for the activity to be carried out.

“In compliance with Article 16, par. 5 and 6 of the Regulation of the Romanian Senate, we inform you that the parliamentary group of the unaffiliated senators, called The Union, was established, and its composition is as follows: Adrian Tutuianu, Baciu Gheorghe, Ghitac Virgil, Covaciu Rodica, Ionascu Gabi, Lungu Vasile and Botnariu Emanuel”, reads the request for the establishment of the parliamentary group of the unaffiliated senators, called “The Union”.

Adrian Tutuianu, who was recently excluded from PSD, requested for ensuring the necessary technical secretariat, the necessary transportation means and logistics, in order for the parliamentary group’s activity to be carried out appropriately.

“In compliance with the provisions of Article 16 of the Senate’s Regulation, the leadership of the parliamentary group called The Union is: Adrian Tutuianu – leader, Covaciu Rodica – vice leader, and Baciu Gheorghe – Secretary. As a result of forming the parliamentary group called The Union, according to the provisions of Articles 21 and 22 of the Senate’s Regulation, we request for ensuring the necessary technical secretariat, the necessary transportation means and logistics in order for the activity to be carried out appropriately”, reads the quoted source.

According to the provisions of Article 16, par.2 of the Regulation, a parliamentary group can be established and can function only if it includes six senators.

The PSD Executive Council voted in November for the exclusion of Adrian Tutuianu and Marian Neacsu. On November 16, Senator Adrian Tutuianu announced he submitted a request at the court, for the suspension of the decision issued by CExN of PSD regarding his exclusion from the party.

On Saturday, he expressed on Facebook the dissatisfaction towards the fact that the court has deferred his request for the suspension of the decision issued by CExN of PSD on his exclusion from the party. He mentioned that the term was deferred because PSD requested the case to be transferred, due to the fact that he is a senator.
