Saint-Gobain speeds up the organisational transformation process and launches the “Transform & Grow” programme

Saint-Gobain Group speeds up the organisational transformation process of the company and launches the “Transform & Grow” programme, built around two pillars: a more flexible management of the product and solution portfolio, and a new organisational structure, simpler and more agile, adapted to the customers’ needs and incorporating digital solution at any level.

Having a large portfolio of products and solutions developed according to the requirements, trends and evolution of the markets on which it operates, Saint-Gobain Group has succeeded to maintain, over its 350[year history, its position as the global leader in the field of construction habitat and materials, thanks to its consistent adaptation and innovation ability.

In this context, Saint-Gobain Group has recently adopted a new management system at global level, which includes faster and clearer decision-making channels that promote a higher responsibility among the employees, offering to its customers a wider and more integrated product and service range. The new organisation will also allow the Group to support the development of commercial synergies in order to bring the whole Saint-Gobain product and service range on the market, by a coordinated manner.

Thus, Ovidiu Pascutiu was appointed as the General Manager of Saint-Gobain Group in Romania, starting on January 1, 2019.
