700 international robotics experts to meet in Bucharest in March

On March 20-22, the capital of Romania will host, for the first time, the European Robotics Forum, the most prestigious robotics event in Europe. The 10th edition of the Forum, organised under the high patronage of the Romanian President and under the Patronage of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will take place at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, in the presence of 700 international robotics experts.

More than 50 workshops will be organised, focusing on various robotics subjects or fields related to robotics, such as:

  • Innovative robots for the automotive industry,
  • Agricultural robots,
  • Robotics and Big Data,
  • Robotics and A.I.,
  • Ethics in the field of robotics,
  • Security, etc.

By hosting the European Robotics Forum, which takes place for the first time in an Eastern European country, Romania transmits a clear message in what concerns our country’s interest and capacity to be an important actor in the field of future technologies and of robotics in particular.

At the same time, the forum represents a good opportunity for the Romanian entrepreneurial and innovation community to express its desire and will to be part of a European Union that supports the new technologies and that is prepared to keep up with them in order to make them useful for its citizens.

Full information on the event is available on www.erf2019.eu, while the schedule of the 50 workshops can be consulted here: https://goo.gl/RRhdU1.
