Business growth by 36% for Hedone Cafe in 2018 . The only Romanian producer of professional equipment for the preparation of coffee has ended the year 2018 with a turnover of RON 5 million

Hedone Cafe, the Romanian producer of espresso machines and professional, has ended the year 2018 with a turnover of approximately RON 5 million.

The number reflects the organic growth, from one year to another, of the single Romanian local business in the field of the production of professional equipment for preparing coffee, Hedone Cafe reaching, in 2018, a turnover higher by 36% than in 2017.

The engines of growing business in 2018 were the expansion of the company’s presence at national level, the diversification of the portfolio with new categories of customers, as well as the development of new partnerships, at both national and international level.

“Last year was a very good year for our business, and the national and international partnerships we developed have significantly contributed to the process of growing our business, not only from the financial point of view, but also in terms of strengthening the image of our company as a reliable partner. Among the partnerships concluded last year on the external markets, we are very proud of the one with Nice Korea, the result of which is that the Hedone Cafe professional equipment is distributed throughout Asia”, stated Dan Barbu, the CEO of Hedone Cafe.

While 2018 was a year of strengthening our external and local partnerships, we expect 2019 to be a year in which the Hedone Cafe products will reach new educated markets, with a solid culture regarding the coffee preparation and consumption.

“Unlike the foreign markets – either the ones we are prospecting or the ones on which we will start the distribution this year –, Romania is still a young market, although it made a remarkable progress in the recent years. Through our opening to these traditional markets, we get in touch with the latest trends in the field of coffee consumption, which we want to share in 2019, too, to our local customers, constantly increasing the quality of the coffee preparation process, through innovative products and services”, stated Dragos Manciu, the Production Manager of Hedone Cafe.

In 2019, Hedone Cafe will continue its plans related to the expansion of its presence at local and international level, will launch new products (professional espresso machines and grinders) and will participate with the products made at the Hedone Cafe factory from Craiova to one of the world’s most important events in the  hospitality industry – HostMilano 2019.
