Brico Depôt comes closer to customers at national level, now in 34 stores

Brico Depôt Romania, part of Kingfisher plc, an international interior design company, finalizes the transformation of the 19 Praktiker stores into Brico Depôt stores and announces a new brand positioning, closer to customers. The new Brico Depôt store network now has 34 stores in 25 Romanian cities.

The transformation actions of the Praktiker stores into Brico Depôt stores have been designed taking into account the manner in which customers plan their renovation and interior design projects, the areas and the budget they have, as well as the tools they need. Thus, customers will benefit from an improved shopping experience, tailored to their expectations and requirements, and will be able to find much easier and quicker the products on the shelves. Also, new inspirational spaces have been provided and arranged, such as bathroom showrooms, in which customers can test and see how their bathroom will actually look like. Besides, thanks to the new product layout – which is more intuitive and easier to follow -, customers’ choices will be much easier.

With finalizing the transformation process, Brico Depôt marks the move to a new phase of the operational strategy and the launch of a new brand positioning, accompanied by a new slogan: “it’s good to be home”.

“We suggest our customers a new Brico Depôt and a new approach, which is closer to their needs and expectations. We believe that each one of us should have a home in which he feels good, and our goal is that home improvement will become accessible to everyone. We invite them in our new stores, where they will discover solutions that are tailored to the various challenges they face in their improvement and renovation projects, as well as innovative product ranges, at low prices every day”, stated Adela Smeu, CEO of Brico Depôt Romania.

 

34 home improvements for 34 customers

 

The completion of the transformation process is celebrated with the customers, in all the Brico Depôt stores, by organizing contests with instant prizes, as well as a raffle with prizes consisting of 34 home improvements made with the support of a designer.

Brico Depôt’s recommendations for the spring of 2019 are coming under the form of a new catalog, which suggests to customers a selection of favorite products which are ideal for a customized home improvement at low prices. The catalog is available from March 15 to 28.

 

Inspiration for the garden and the balcony

 

Brico Depôt has launched for the first time the new catalog “Ideas for the garden and the balcony”, inspired by the stories of seven customers with different challenges to rearrange the garden or the balcony. In the 188 pages, customers can find inspiration for new projects, as well as clever solutions and arranging ideas, so that they will be able to obtain functional and impactful spaces, regardless of their area and budget. The catalog is available from March 15 to June 30, 2019, in the Brico Depôt stores, on the website and in the Brico Depôt application.
