Tenor Mario Frangoulis will donate part of Bucharest concert ticket sales to charity

Tenor Mario Frangoulis will redirect 10% of the ticket sales from his first concert in Bucharest, on April 20, to HOSPICE House of Hope. “There are people who, if you get to know them, change your life and priorities,” says the Greek tenor. The action takes place under the patronage of the British Chamber of Commerce in Romania.

Throughout his career, Mario Frangoulis has supported numerous philanthropic initiatives and foundations as ambassador and spokesperson. The Jose Carreras Leukemia Foundation, Give US Your Poor campaign, Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Dalai Lama Center for Peace, UNESCO, and the UK Red Cross are some of them.

On April 20, tenor Mario Frangoulis will take over the Palace Hall’s stage, alongside the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Greek conductor Stathis Soulis. Special guest: Soprano Cellia Costea. A caring artist enjoys success all over the globe, with 19 released albums and over 7 million copies sold, Frangoulis combines the classical with the contemporary, mixing opera with pop, rock, folk, soul or world music. He performed alongside artists such as Sarah Brightman, Placido Domingo, Montserrat Caballe, José Carreras, Liu Huan, Lara Fabian, Klaus Meine or Angela Gheorghiu has collaborated with the best orchestras of the world.
