The legendary band Deep Purple returns to Romania on December 10th, for the first time in Cluj Napoca

Deep Purple announces a new concert in Romania, which will take place on December 10th, at Sala Polivalentă, in Cluj Napoca.

 Deep Purple is one of the most prominent rock bands that, over the years, has explored new styles, sparking the interest of those who were not born at the time Deep Purple was in the top of the music industry. Successful albums such as “In Rock” (1970), “Machine Head” (1972), “Made In Japan” (1973) and songs like “Smoke On The Water”, “Child In Time” and “Soldier Of Fortune” featured the band in the top selling albums and tickets rock groups.

With countless songs that became classics, their live appearances create many debates between older and newer fans, especially after the re-release of the album “NOW WHAT?!”. Golden Disk and Top Ten around the world, the album was sold in over one million copies, and more than one million concert attendees are added, so far. “On the Sunset in Wacken” and “To the Rising Sun in Tokyo” were on the same day on Sections 1 and 2 of the British music charts, proving once again the fascination that the band’s shows holds on the public.

 On the Cluj stage, solist Ian Gillan, drummer Ian Paice and bassist Roger Glover will be accompanied by the guitarist Steve Morse and keyboardist Don Airey.

The concert is organized by Events , one of the largest entertainment companies in Romania. Since 2000, their slogan is “unforgettable” and the events that will always remain in the memory of the audience include The Rolling Stones, Linkin Park, Aerosmith and Leonard Cohen, Pink Martini Cirque du Soleil or Sensation

Tickets are available for the following categories: standing – General Access – 190 lei and Golden Circle – 250 lei, and seated at 130 lei, 190 lei, 210 lei, 260 lei and 400 lei (VIP) and can be purchased starting April 11th, at 11:00 AM, online at www.eventim.ro or in the Eventim network (Germanos, Vodafone and Carrefour hypermarkets, Humanitas, Diverta and Cărturești bookstores).
