The most advanced social robot in the world will be present at Bucharest Tech Week 2019

The fourth edition of Bucharest Tech Week brings to the attention of the professionals in the business sector the latest trends in technology, shared by 30 international experts. One of the stars of this edition will be Furhat, a robot endowed with artificial intelligence, with social skills and the capacity to interact with people in am empathic manner: speaking, listening, expressing feelings and keeping the eye contact. Created by the Furhat Robotics laboratories, this special guest of the Bucharest Tech Week 2019 has multiple applicability: it can be a trainer for the employees or it can welcome tourists in transit points (airports, railway stations or hotels) by providing them with precise information and guidance in following the desired route.

On May 21 and 22, at Bucharest Tech Week, Furhat will interact with the participants in the first two business conferences of the tech week held at Radisson Blu Hotel:

  • At Innovation Summit, on May 21, there will be a debate on the future of the social robots and on how the Furhat Robotics platform redefines the relation between people and technology.
  • At HR Masters Summit, on May 22, the discussed topic is the Unbiased Recruitment; Furhat Robotics developed a robot that van stay unbiased in the situations of an interview with people from cultures that are different from the one of the employer.

Between May 21 and 24, at Radisson Blu Hotel, international and local experts in various fields of activity such as: Innovation, HR, FinTech, Java and .NET, are expected to come.

More than 30 renowned international speakers who are experts in their fields of activity, will climb the stage of the five business summits organized under Bucharest Tech Week.

At the business conferences to be held under Bucharest Tech Week, professionals who are interested in technological innovations will find out global trends on topics such as: the applicability of the space technology as a catalyst of the innovation in business, using the LinkedIn instruments in the successful implementation of the various initiatives on diversity and inclusion in teams, the expansion of the Open Banking phenomenon (APIs), apps like Java EE in Azure or Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
