The little ballerinas of the Romanian National Opera Ballet School at the UN, in New York

On Thursday May 16,  a team of the Ballet School for Children and Youth of the Romanian National Opera of Bucharest, headed by the former first ballerina Magdalena Rovinescu, held an artistic moment at the UN headquarters, in New York, in the presence of Permanent Representative of Romania to the UN, Ambassador Ion Jinga.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to the UN, international officials of the Organization and a large group of visitors who were present in the UN General Assembly building.

In the opening of the event, Ambassador Ion  Jinga pointed out that the Romanian ballet school has a tradition of more than 40 years and thanked to the little ballerinas for their artistic performance, congratulating them for their talent and dedication in promoting the Romanian ballet school abroad. In conclusion, the Romanian diplomat urged them to love music and dance and be dedicated to their passion of fulfilling their dreams, ensuring them that Romanians are proud of them.
