Dancers of Lord of the Dance celebrate 10 years of performances in Romania, in a special show, on June 22, at the Roman Arenas

The first performance of LORD OF THE DANCE band held in our country took place in 2008, when the famous dancer Michael Flatley impressed the audience with dancing moments that are difficult to describe. Since 2010 until today, the Irish dancers have gained that special place in the hearts of their admirers in Bucharest and in Romania’s big cities, being enthusiastically awaited every time.

This year, the lords of the Irish dance, headed by the famous choreographer and dancer Michael Flatley, will celebrate 10 years of performances on the Romanian stages through a new series of shows scheduled for the end of June, in Bucharest, Craiova and Oradea.

With a complex and innovative choreography, complemented by new dancing elements, the 40 energetic dancers of the band LORD OF THE DANCE will climb for the first time on the outdoor stage of the Roman Arenas in Bucharest, on Saturday, June 22, starting at 20.30.

Those who will be there will enjoy for two hours a new demonstration of professionalism and talent in the most applauded Irish dance of all times – “LORD OF THE DANCE – DANGEROUS GAMES”. The story of the show brings to the forefront the battle between the forces of Good and Evil through dance and state-of-the-art technology.

“LORD OF THE DANCE – DANGEROUS GAMES” is an eclectic show with live music interpreted by the company’s orchestra, written by Gerard Fahy, which includes new choreography elements with a high degree of difficulty, a giant screen covering the full width of the stage, 3D holographic projections, special effects of lights and laser, dancing and acrobatic robots awarded in world competitions.

The synchronization of the band LORD OF THE DANCE is perfect; the stage presence and movement, the jerky sounds produced by the dance shoes similar to the step ones, the many costumes in vivid colors, transmit, beyond the stage, a vibrant positive energy, a unique state of exaltation which the Romanian spectators of all ages will have the opportunity to experience on June 22, at the Roman Arenas of Bucharest.

The same impressive show will arrive on Sunday, June 23, in Craiova, and on Tuesday, June 25, in Oradea.

The production was made by choreographer and dancer Michael Flatley, more than 20 years ago. In 2014, he reviewed the content and turned it into a much more attractive shoe for the audience, compared to the original version. In September 2014, the new version of the show “Lord of the Dance – Dangerous Games” has been successfully played on the stage of the Palladium Hall in London, continuing with sold-out performances on all of the great stages of the world in USA, Canada, Ireland, Germany, South Africa, Australia, New Zeeland, Mexico, and of course, Romania.

Tickets that are still available for the show scheduled on June 22 in Bucharest can be purchased at prices that vary depending on the seat category, in electronic format at Iabilet.ro and on paper, from the Flanco Stores, Unirii 1 Subway station, next to the Metrorex ticket office, the Muzica Store, Expirat Halele Carol (from 18.00 to 22.00), the IQ BOX – Telekom Stores, Café Deko, Club Vintage, Club Quantic, Hard Rock Cafa, Beraria H, Perfect Tour Agencies, Uman Stores and the SelfPay self-service terminals from all over the country.
