The new holders of the Justice Minister, Development Minister and Minister for Romanian Abroad positions – Ana Birchall, Roxana Manzatu and Natalia Intotero – took the oath at Cotroceni. At the end, President Klaus Iohannis didn’t make any statement.

As for the Vice Prime Minister position, for which Titus Corlatean was nominated, but he was rejected by President Klaus Iohannis, PM will make a second nomination.
On Friday, President Klaus Iohannis officially rejected Titus Corlatean’s nomination as the Vice PM for the Implementation of Romania’s Strategic Partnerships. “He doesn’t have an intact reputation, which is a key requirement”, Iohannis said, referring to the fact that when he was the Foreign Minister, Titus Corlatean “has mistakenly managed activities in his field of competence”. The other nominations submitted by Viorica Dancila have been accepted. On Friday, President Klaus Iohannis sent a letter to PM Viorica Dancila, informing her on rejecting Titus Corlatean.
