AEP: Romanians abroad can register to vote in presidential elections starting July 28

The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) has announced that, starting this Sunday, Romanians abroad who want to vote in the presidential elections this year, by correspondence, or at a polling station abroad, closer to their domicile or residence, will be able to register online.

According to a press release of the AEP, Romanian electors can registers online on www.votstrainatate.ro.

Registrations start on Sunday, 12.00 am, Romania’s time, with the form to remain active until September 11.

The portal includes two sections: elector abroad at a polling station and elector abroad by correspondence.

According to AEP, questions and notifications related to the pre-registration and registration procedures can be sent by mail to contact@votstrainatate.ro.
